Note: If you are purchasing a print, please add a print to the cart first before adding any digital negatives you may want. This ensures the shipping/handling costs are correctly calculated. If you have any prints in your cart, the handling fee should be $6.00 for the entire order. If you are only purchasing digital negatives (original images to be e-mailed to you) the handling fee should be $1.00 for the entire order. I apologize for the confusion, however Paypal does not allow me to configure the shipping options how I wanted to save everyone money on shipping multiple prints.
If desired, I can also have photos printed on calendars, mugs, mouse pads, and just about anything else. If this is something that interests you and you would want me to have it done, contact me via e-mail. Having the original image file, you can have the photo reproduced anywhere you want. I maintain copyright of all photographs, however you can have them reproduced for non-commercial purposes without contacting me or paying any other fees.
The images in the gallery are approximately 480 pixels x 320 pixels saved with high JPEG compression. This causes them to appear fuzzy and/or pixilated on this site. The pictures I took were taken with a Canon Digital Rebel, which is a 6 megapixel digital camera. The actual images are 3072 pixels x 2048 pixels and are approximately 4 MB in size. I have had prints from this camera made up to 20x16 without distortion.
I have all prints made professionally on the similar equipment that makes prints for film cameras. This makes for a high quality glossy print, just as you would get from a film camera, and at a less cost than other printing methods.
Please note if you want the images resized or cropped. I will do basic "touchup" (crop, resize, sharpen, slight color adjustment) at no extra cost to help provide you a better quality print and/or image file. If you want to use the image for a computer background image, let me know and I will resize them to the correct ratio for a computer monitor (2730x2048). Using the original images (3072x2048) as computer backgrounds will result in them being slightly stretched, as the camera takes pictures at a film ratio. Resizing the images will fix this problem. If I crop, resize, or otherwise edit an image, I will still send the original unedited version to you if you want it (i.e. no extra cost). For these requests, please send me a separate e-mail after placing your order.
