RIP Roel

My good friend Bonnie lost her Friesian Roel. This is a picture I found of him from one of her e-mails. I was trying to find one that Bonnie had sent me several years ago when Tina and I were at her farm. Roel passed away 1/12/2011 ~8am. I am so saddened when I learn of a friend’s loss. It kills me to read through the numerous articles that I do each day concerning horses and see the lack of responsibility that people have. Of course, this lack of responsibility spans all areas of life. However, horses cannot speak, at least not in a manner in that those who are irresponsible can understand them. Mud!

YEA! We got rain. Unfortunately it was warm so the ponies stayed outside today. In protest they changed colors. It was still drizzling when I got home and I got cussed in horse. They still stayed out. Tomorrow’s weather is wind and rain so I am aiming to try to bring them in before that mess starts. The leaves are about gone. Sick

Ok, so that explains the last post, Tired… Yesterday I passed out immediately getting home. Today I wanted to, but had slightly more energy and used it to mount my car dock for my Droid2. I wanted to get it mounted so I could use my phone more “hands free” when driving, plus use it for navigation. Tired

Why do so many of my entries have tired in the title? Yeesh. Well, today was a beautiful day. I ended up mowing around the barn and then up the road before the pasture. I also got some landscape done around the house by the driveway where we park where the block wall fell in earlier this year. The ponies have been very vocal lately.
